On June 22nd and 23rd 2018, the Château du Champ de Bataille welcomed the scene of “Opéra en Plein Air” in the main courtyard of the Castle.
For its 18th edition, “Opéra en Plein Air” had the pleasure to present Carmen of Georges Bizet produced by Radu Mihaileanu. This famous comic opera plays the life of Carmen, a free and seductive woman in the streets of Seville. It is the most played opera in the world.
Created in 2001, the “Opéra en Plein Air” festival aims at promoting the lyric art for all audiences in patrimonial sites of exception with a production let to a public personality.
